The factors that are contributing to a drop in confidence among business owners

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) just released their business optimism index that showed optimism has hit an eleven-year low with business owners. Among the reasons for this decline, inflation continues to be a top concern as costs for everything from utilities to labor to manufacturing materials have increased 15–30 percent. I discuss other causes that are contributing to this decline.
