I review the job index report, the Midwest is the top-ranked region for job growth, surpassing the South. According to a report by Deloitte and the Manufacturing Institute, the U.S. manufacturing industry, which has been dealing with a tight labor market, will need nearly four million jobs to be filled by the year 2033, or 5 in 10 jobs will remain unfilled.
